Meet The Owner, Mirella

I was raised in Moab and spent some years moving around before I decided to build a home in Moab. I feel so grateful to have the opportunity to have a place to call my own in one of the most traveled destinations in the world!

My entry to operating short-term vacation rentals started through my growth in working in affordable housing. It brought me great joy in helping low-income families find housing in Moab. I spent four years in affordable housing before the opportunity developed in creating Grandview Cottages with another Moab local.

Grandview Cottages started its operation in March 2017 and I took over ownership of the business in January 2021. I have spent so much time investing in this little business and feel proud of the popularity and continuous support we have reached from our guests.

I currently manage the daily operations of reservations, guest interactions and cleaning of the rentals. Most days you will see me on site as I take pride in offering a clean, organized stay for guests.  I'm happy to answer questions or share tips for your stay.

When I am not working you will find me hiking with my furry, blue-eyed boy Ranger, adventuring with my sweet nephew, riding one of my motorbikes, or exploring with my significant other.
